Huge thanks to the pupils of Churchtown Primary School who spent a day dressed as their heroes to raise money for Community Link Foundation.
They raised an amazing £413.42 by making a voluntary donation in exchange for being able to dress up for the day.
Children interpreted the hero theme in a variety of ways, dressing up as nurses, policemen, superheroes and even people they know who they class as heroes.
David Barron, chairperson of Community Link Foundation, said: “We are so grateful to Churchtown Primary School for their ongoing support of the Community Link Foundation. They had some really fun ideas of who to dress up as and they seemed to enjoy the day. The money raised will go to help good causes in the area. Thanks to everyone who took part and donated.”
