Community Link Foundation helps local family

Community Link Foundation were delighted to be able to help with an emergency request for help just before Christmas.

We were contacted by a local care worker who had been assisting a local family who were re housed the week before Christmas, unfortunately their new property did not have carpeting however the move was absolutely vital for the family. We were contacted to see if we could assist in anyway.

The information was quickly circulated amongst the Trustees who unanimously agreed to support this and within 3 days new carpets were laid throughout the property so that the family could enjoy Christmas in comfort.

The family have had a great Christmas and the new property has made life so much better for them particularly with the carpeting.
