The Community Link Foundation was delighted to be able to assist a grant request from Suzanne Instone and very supporting Nan to Philip Instone
Suzanne contacted Community Link Foundation requesting a grant to assist in the purchase of a large pram and special cot bed for her son Philip who requires constant supervision due to requiring TPN (Total Parent Nutrition).
Philip Instone is 4 years old and the provision of this equipment will allow his parents to offer him as normal a life as possible.
Suzanne explained “our aim is to try and give Philip a normal life. We want him to achieve and do what normal 4 year olds do at this age. We try to involve him in as many activities as possible and this equipment will help greatly”
David Barron Chairperson of Community Link Foundation explained “we have had a lot of grant request lately and this one for Philip was particular touching in that it had an effect on the whole family, with our little support hopefully Philip and his family will all see a benefit”
David also explained that the foundation was seeing more and more grant requests coming through their website and that they will look to assist as many as possible but the foundation requires the support of the local community to be able to make these grants.
David also explained that the Foundation are also looking for individuals and organisations to raise funds which the Foundation can put to good use in the local area and if anybody would like to get involved please email rhutchinson@clfoundation.co.uk or call 01704 531080.
