Community Link Foundation is delighted to have been chosen as the preferred charity for Southport Flower Show Gala Dinner taking place on Wednesday 19th August.
Southport Flower Show takes place every August in Victoria Park and sees 34 acres of grounds transformed into one of the largest independent flower shows in the UK attracting over 60,000 people annually.
David Barron, Chairman of Community Link Foundation explained “we have been in existence for a little over a year and have tremendous support from our local sponsors, and support like this from the Flowers Show will allow us to take our support for local people even further and we are exceptionally grateful to those who have worked and assisted us in achieving this grant”
Ray Roukin General Manager of Southport Flowershow explained: “Every year we support a charity on the Gala preview evening and this year we are delighted to have been able to support Community Link Foundation, a local charity. We are very excited by the prospect of working with the team at Community Link Foundation to ensure that they get as much exposure as possible.”
The Community Link Foundation is the charity for the people of Southport, Formby, Ormskirk, Ainsdale, Burscough, Hesketh Bank, Rufford and Banks, and the communities within these catchment boundaries. We have a passion for supporting the people and organisations within our Community and invest in the people who live in it so that we can all be proud of where we live.
