A range of local businesses and organisations pulled on their Christmas woollies last week to help raise money.
Community Link Foundation encouraged local companies to wear their festive knitwear on Friday for their second annual Christmas Jumper Day.
Businesses that took part included Anthony James Estate Agents, Ramada Plaza Southport – including some of their regular guests, Barron Financial Solutions, PT Jones and Partners, JWK Solicitors, ewemove, County Insurance, Heidi Cranfield, AJ Estate Agents and the Print Quarter.
Some organisations are holding their jumper day on a different date, to fit in with Christmas parties, so there’s still time to get involved.
Enda Rylands, chair of Community Link Foundation, said: “We are delighted that so many people joined in the fun and chose to wear a Christmas jumper to work in exchange for a small donation. We are very grateful to everyone who supported this fun event.
“It’s not just about raising money of course; we want people to know about Community Link Foundation and consider us when they are planning their own fundraising activity, or people may want to apply to us for a grant.
“If you took part, or are planning on taking part at a later date, then please send us your photos so we can fill our social media feeds with festive fun.”
Community Link Foundation helps people in Southport, Ormskirk, Formby and surrounding areas who need financial support in a variety of ways.
