Enda Rylands

Enda Rylands

Chair

Enda is the owner of EPR Hospitality. He has been involved with several groups within Southport and the region.

He has been involved with CLF since 2014.

He is also Chair at Southport Rugby Club based on Waterloo Road.

Enda also sits on the Board for Southport Flower show which is task with ensuring that the North Wests premier horticulture event grows year on year.

Joel Thompson

Joel Thompson

Joel is a director of Lynn Thompson Lettings, a Southport based family run company. Who focus on residential property lettings throughout the North West.

He has joined Community Link Foundation to help people in the area he has grown up in, as he is passionate about Southport.

In his spare time he enjoys eating at every restaurant possible and travelling.

Mark Cunningham

Mark Cunningham

Mark and Lyn own Anthony James Estate Agents who have been in Southport trading since 2002. Lyn and Mark have been supporters of Community Link Foundation since David Barron founded this superb local charity in 2013.

Lyn and Mark are no strangers to charity and are notably credited as founders of Vital Signs Foundation in 2010 with Steve Haw who successfully raised funds by running The Jedi Music Festival and Southport Rocks Music Festival held in Victoria Park.

Lyn and Mark also support Southport & Ainsdale Under 10s Football team and supports Mark Edwards Foundation who supports young athletes in reaching their sporting dreams and aspirations.

Mark & Lyn have two children Grace & Gerard and supporters of Southport Football Club and have also supported Southport Comedy festival since it started over 12 years ago.

Kerry Snookes

Kerry Snookes

Kerry is a Solicitor working for a local company, Birchall Blackurn Law, Churchtown.

Kerry has been a Trustee and board member of the Community Link Foundation since September 2017.

Kerry is committed to helping the Community Link Foundation achieve its aim of making a positive difference to the community. Kerry finds her role extremely rewarding and enjoys being involved in the local community.

In her spare time, Kerry enjoys keeping fit and challenging her fitness. Kerry has taken part in many challenges such as tough mudder, the great north run, no ego challenge, total warrior and a bike ride from Manchester to Blackpool. This allows Kerry to enjoy her other passion; baking! Kerry also enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Tony Coates

Tony Coates

A highly experienced commercial property partner, Tony leads Napthens’ commercial property team across Merseyside and has extensive experience in all key elements of commercial property work. Since 2021, he has been recognised as a key lawyer within the prestigious Legal 500 Guide.

He represents a broad range of clients with an emphasis on owner-managed businesses, property investors, pension schemes, property developers, SME’s, and lending institutions. His clients are spread across all sectors throughout the UK as well as overseas.

Tony joined the Napthens team as a Partner in 2019, having spent his previous 18 years at a large regional practice. After studying Law in Birmingham, he acquired his post-graduate qualifications at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston.

He lives in Hesketh Bank with his family

Nicola Kenyon

Nicola Kenyon

Nicola has worked in journalism, PR and marketing in the North West for 25 years covering a range of sectors including hospitality, housing and public services. She currently works as a PR Manager for We Are Pink in Liverpool.

She started her career on the Southport Visiter and has worked for several local businesses including the Mikhail Hotel and Leisure Group, Southport Flower Show and Queenscourt Hospice.

Nicola has been involved with the Foundation for nine years and joined the board in October 2023. She would like her communications experience to help raise the profile of CLF and the brilliant work that they do so that they can support even more people.

Chris Harding

Chris Harding

Chris Harding works for Birkdale Insurance Group as a Development Executive.

He represents the company at numerous events and he is a serial networker.

He joined Community Link Foundation in 2018 and he has enjoyed being a Trustee.

Chris hopes to assist the charity by engaging with his large bank of contacts to raise awareness and sponsorship.

Chris has many interests including most sports but especially Football, Cricket, Golf and Crown Green Bowling.

Chris is on several Crown Green Bowling committees in Southport.

Bev Howard

Bev Howard

Bev Howard, founder of BOSS Consulting,  is a local business consultant and has lived in Southport with her family for over 20 years. Being a trustee for the Community Link Foundation is an opportunity to make a real impact on the community in a way that aligns with her values and beliefs.

Bev is keen to help make tangible, positive changes in the lives of people in our community and with a long career in business management Bev is equipped to spot opportunities, flag up challenges and she recognises when there is a need for change.

As a Trustee Bev is keen to support the charity direction, growth, and overall effectiveness.
