Thank you for your generosity in supporting
Community Link Foundation.
Without your support, our charity wouldn’t be able to continue supporting so many good causes in our region.
The Community Link Foundation was delighted to be able to assist a grant request from Lyndsey Hughes, the mother of local school boy Aiden.
Lyndsey contact Community Link requesting a grant to purchase a laptop for Aiden that would help him greatly in his school work and allow him to complete homework and communicate better with his teachers.
Aiden was very pleased to receive his brand new laptop provided by Community Link Foundation to help him with his school work. Aiden has Spastic Diplegic Cerebral Palsy which affects his mobility and motor skills making it difficult for him to write neatly. The laptop will enable him to use typing as his preferred way of learning and presenting his work both at school and at home. Aiden’s big smile says it all!!
“Community Link Foundation are committed to helping enhance the lives of local people and grant request was unanimously supported by the trustees” said Chairman David Barron “we are now starting to see more grant applications coming in and we would encourage any individuals or organisations who feel that we can help to get in touch, our grant criteria is available on our website www.clfoundation.co.uk”
