This month the trustee’s of Community Link Foundation were please to award over £10,000 in grants to organisations and individuals in our community.
Those to benefit include:
The Legacy rainbow House over £1,300 to provide a years worth of Conductive Education for a local 12 year old boy who has cerebral palsy and developmental delay.
Learning Stars Community Group who provide support for adults with learning disabilities in West Lanchashire.
Queenscourt £2,500 towards a “manshed” project which will enhance the therapeutic services they offer.
Galloway’s Society for the Blind over £1,000 to assist in the provision on iPad and IT training courses in our area.
Timesavers in Burscough nearly £800 to assist in providing training and work experience to adults with learning disabilities.
Linaker Children’s Centre nearly £800 to assist in the provision of vital equipment to a local service user.
Southport Soup Kitchen almost £3,000 to provide essential repairs to their premise’s so they can continue to provide an excellent service.
